I'm actually getting ready to paint our bedroom, guest bathroom and MAYBE Madeline's room. We'll see how far I really get. Anyway here is my 2 cents....

I would go with a light brown, like a creamy coffee with a hint of gray in it. That would probably be really nasty coffee, but here is a color you could check out at Lowes. It's by Valspar and its called Chantrelle #MS 096. For possible accent pieces as mentioned in earlier comments (including a shower curtain) I would try to incorporate colors similar to the following: by Valspar - Gentle Pasture #6003-4A, by Olympic - Blue Tang #C52-6 (close to the blue tile in your floor), by Olympic - Navajo White # D12-1. Your accent pieces do not have to incorporate all colors all the time. You could even hang a nice plant to bring a green and just find something to tie in the blue, yellow and brown. If you want to hang shelves over the toilet I would do either a dark brown stained wood or a painted white. Either would look great. If not, I know Pier One has a lot of things on sale right now. Lots of accent pieces and wall hangings. Might be fun to check it out and see if something strikes you. Hope that helps.

Love you and miss you. Can't wait to see the room.Ginger Powellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08183128796904337127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36816242.post-4062001063992995702008-01-03T23:28:00.000-08:002008-01-03T23:28:00.000-08:00blue. :)blue. :)Traceehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17990169425795959100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36816242.post-32686173435535405902008-01-03T17:15:00.000-08:002008-01-03T17:15:00.000-08:00mocha would be nice, another thought is matching t...mocha would be nice, another thought is matching the yellow ... Muted saddle with red "x" eyes.

Really though, b/f I even read the others I was thinking a light tan--i guess mocha is the 2007 name for it. Cant go wrong with blue and brown as long as values match and the yellow will be good with this too. If you pulled some of the tile out, I would suggest bringing it to the store along with something the color of your floor tiles and pick something out that goes well.

Fun, fun! We too have a million house projects ongoing. Jason and his brother pulled up the carpet in our house while I was at my parent's house. IT looks great, but now makes all of the other projects seem more urgent.

Love you!Lesley and Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12282715324499546481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36816242.post-81800346378551680522007-12-31T19:24:00.000-08:002007-12-31T19:24:00.000-08:00I am putting another vote in for mocha. Though, I think you would have to find some kind of nice accent (picture or vase or something)to really bring those two colors together.Though, I think it would also depend on the color of blue in the tile. I am not sure I would do mocha if it was a dark blue, but I think it would definitely be good with a lighter blue. My second choice would be to do a similar blue to your flooring. I probably wouldn't do white, but that's just me.Kalliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18255483949873012284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36816242.post-12895092402947963112007-12-30T19:32:00.000-08:002007-12-30T19:32:00.000-08:00My vote is for a mocha color or the blue that is i...My vote is for a mocha color or the blue that is in your flooring. I am really into brown these days, I guess brown/mocha would be my favorite. I love the yellow you have in the tiles.
Have fun with that.
Let's talk tomorrow about our plans for this week :)Anna Morrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11539206816762545067noreply@blogger.com
