Malaguena

Ellen and I have been working through a piano lesson book called Alfred's Basic Piano Library-- Level 2. She started learning the Malaguena on Monday and we took this video on Friday. She is so proud at the end of her song and so am I.

Awesome job, Ellen! I looked up "Malaguena" and it means "of or pertaining to Malaga, Spain." So your song must have been written in or about Malaga, Spain -- the sixth largest city in Spain on the beautiful Mediterranean coast of southern Spain.

A beautiful song about a beautiful city played by a beautiful pianist!

Can't believe you learned it in just five days! (What did I learn this week???) More, please!

I loved watching both of your girls play their instruments! How quickly they learn! It is truly amazing. Matt is trying to teach himself how to play the guitar and I might try my hand at the piano! I guess you are never too old to learn something new:)
